The Ontario SPCA placed the following animals in permanent adoptive homes in 2007:
- 5,609 cats
- 2,616 dogs
- 942 small animals
Investigations Statistics in 2007
- Responded to 16,834 allegations of abuse, neglect or injury (1,428 involving farm animals)
- Issued 2,581 orders regarding appropriate and humane standards of care
- Laid 254 federal and provincial charges
- Took in 7,121 animals through surrender or seizure
