Close to 40 animals transferred to Sudbury from Northern Ontario

On October 19, close to 40 animals were transferred to the Ontario SPCA Sudbury and District Animal Centre with the team at Northern Reach Rescue Network.

The transfer happened during the Northern Animal Summit, hosted by Collège Boréal in Sudbury.

The first Northern Animal Summit, was a two-day event bringing together thought leaders and influencers to share collaborative solutions to the unique challenges facing Northern communities and to create healthy communities for people and pets.

With many puppies being part of this transfer, our staff had a lot of fun getting them settled and comfortable for the night.

The following day, the dogs were prepared for travel again from Sudbury to the Ontario SPCA Barrie Animal Centre and the Ontario SPCA Orangeville Animal Centre, where they will be spayed/neutered and adopted into loving homes.
