Ontario SPCA seeking information from the public after pigeon bludgeoned in Ottawa
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE - Ottawa, ON (April 6, 2018) – The Ontario SPCA is seeking the public’s assistance to determine who killed a pigeon that was allegedly bludgeoned to death in Ottawa.
The Ontario SPCA received information that on March 9, 2018, between the hours of 7 p.m. and 8:15 p.m., two males were seen bludgeoning a pigeon to death with a guitar in front of the residential building located at 740 Springland Dr.
The two individuals are described to be white males, approximately 16-18 years of age, approximately 6 feet tall, 150-170 pounds, with dark hair. One of the males was reported to be wearing a white construction hard hat and plain white t-shirt.
“If anyone has any information that could assist with this investigation, we urge them to report it to the Ontario SPCA,” says Lynn Michaud, Senior Inspector, Ontario SPCA. “We want to find the people responsible for this heinous crime.”
