The Ontario SPCA is appealing to the Toronto Community for assistance in locating the owner, caregiver or guardian of suspected injured dog.

The Ontario SPCA is appealing to the Toronto Community for assistance in locating the owner, caregiver or guardian of the dog seen in this video.

The man is described as a Caucasian male, approximately 40 years old, wearing blue jeans, a grey thigh-length waterproof jacket and tan leather shoes. His hair is short, brown in colour and he wears glasses. The man wore a sign on the back of his body saying “PLEASE HELP! My dog is the operation is $2,000. Thank you and God bless”. A similar sign covered his chest and he held a donations cup.

The dog is described as a medium-sized, white dog; approximately Border collie in size appears to be suffering from an obvious injury to the right foreleg. This dog needs immediate medical attention and the Ontario SPCA is seeking any information as to the dog’s whereabouts.

"No animal should have to suffer", says Agent Dewar. "There are options available, all anyone has to do is contact the Ontario SPCA or your local Veterinarian."

Please contact the Ontario SPCA with any information you might have at 1-888-668-7722 ext. 343, by email at cruelty@ospca.on.ca or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS.
