The Ontario SPCA is not experiencing outbreaks in any of its facilities.

It's not unusual in a shelter environment to be treating animals with health concerns.

Many animals are quite ill or suffering from the effects of neglect or abuse when they come to the Ontario SPCA for care.

Each animal receives its own plan for care in the hopes that they will be ready for a new home as quickly as possible.

We are pleased to report that our disease and infection control protocols, used across the province, are very effective.

Our adoptable animals are healthy, happy and awaiting new homes.

During this Labour Day weekend, we ask the public to consider visiting any of our facilities to adopt a pet or make a donation.
