Public Service Announcement - The Ontario SPCA does not conduct door to door solicitation

NEWMARKET, ON (May 3, 2013) – The Ontario SPCA would like to take this opportunity to inform the public that the Society does not solicit donations door to door in neighbourhoods. We have many donation programs, all of which are represented on our official website

The Ontario SPCA depends almost entirely on the generosity of donations from the general public – your compassion enables us to provide urgently needed care and shelter for the thousands of innocent animals that suffer from injury, abuse or neglect each year in across this province.

If you wish to support to the Ontario SPCA, there are many ways to donate on our website at In addition we invite you to call our donor services hotline and speak to one of our donor service team members at  1-888-668-7722 ex 321 and they will  be happy to accept your donation and answer any of your giving questions.
