Another milestone for Animal Welfare, Congratulations to the Ottawa Humane Society

The new OHS is approximately three times the size of the old facility and has been designed to not only help more animals but also provide better care for the animals that are being temporarily housed.

The grand opening welcomed supporters from all over the Ottawa region including current foster parents, Prime Minister, Stephan Harper and his wife Laureen Harper.

It was an honour to be in attendance with our Chief Inspector, Connie Mallory. We were very impressed with this new facility and are pleased that more work can now be done to help the animals in the Ottawa region. OHS continues to do great things for animal welfare.

Congratulations again to our friends at the Ottawa Humane Society, this is truly another milestone in animal welfare.

Donations to the Ottawa Humane Society can be made through their website.
