Ontario SPCA is seeking information on 15 deceased animals



Barrie, ON (August 4, 2015) - On June 18, 2015 an Ontario SPCA officer responded to a call from a golf course property about 15 deceased animals; three squirrels and 12 chipmunks. The animals were found in a cluster by the street in the area of Livingstone St East and St. Vincent St.

There were no visible puncture wounds or blood; a cause of death has not been confirmed. The animals were removed from the property and further investigation is underway.

“Anyone that may have information on these animals and how they got into the state they were found in, is encouraged to contact the Ontario SPCA by calling 310-SPCA. All calls will remain anonymous,” says Regional Inspector Alison Green, Ontario SPCA.
