H Hi, I'm Briggs

Briggs is a three-year-old shepherd mix who is back with us after being surrendered due to a lifestyle change in his previous home. This was no fault of his own, and we’re hopeful the right person is out there for him.
Briggs is a shy, nervous dog who needs time and patience to feel safe. He hasn’t been around children, but we recommend he goes to a home without them as busy or unpredictable environments are overwhelming for him.
With other dogs, Briggs has done well and enjoys canine companionship, though his play style can sometimes be rough. A dog savvy owner who understands how to manage and guide dog interactions will be important for his success.
Briggs will need continued training and confidence building. He is a project dog who requires someone willing to go slow, build trust, and help him learn that the world isn’t so scary. In the right hands, he has the potential to blossom into a loyal and rewarding companion.
