The Ontario SPCA and Humane Society’s SPCA Mobile Animal Wellness Services Unit will be rolling into Pembroke from Oct. 4-6 for a spay/neuter clinic for cats and dogs.

The three-day clinic is open to the public and will take place in the parking lot of the Pembroke Legion, located at 202 Pembroke St. E. Take a virtual tour of the mobile unit.

This local clinic has been generously supported by the Pembroke Petawawa District Community Foundation, United Steel Workers Local 1568, and Pet Valu Pembroke. The SPCA Mobile Animal Wellness Services Unit has been made possible thanks to a grant provided by the Pet Valu family of stores through its Giving Back Project. It’s part of the Ontario SPCA’s ongoing efforts to reduce pet overpopulation and reach underserved communities.
