Java is a bright, beautiful 10-month-old Border Collie with energy to spare and a heart full of love. Like many dogs of his breed, he is incredibly intelligent, highly active, and always ready for his next adventure.

Java must go to a home with a farm or working environment where he can have a job. His strong drive to work, combined with his high energy and sharp mind, means that a typical home setting is not suitable for his needs. He requires space, purpose, and daily tasks to truly thrive.

He can be a little nervous when meeting new people, but with patience and kindness, his true personality quickly shines through. Once he feels safe, he becomes an affectionate and loyal companion who forms strong bonds with his people.

Java came from a difficult start in life, but he hasn’t let that define him. He is ready for a fresh beginning with someone who understands working breeds and can provide the structure, stimulation, and environment he needs to grow in confidence and succeed.

With the right farm home, Java will develop into an incredible partner-devoted, playful, and endlessly loving. If you have experience with Border Collies and are looking for a smart, driven dog who just needs the right opportunity, Java could be the perfect match.
