Meet Lunar, an adorable 10-week-old kitten with a unique story and an even sweeter personality.

Lunar has an unusual condition affecting both of her eyes, likely the result of a previous viral infection when she was very young. The infection caused ulcers on her corneas, which appear to have ruptured and then healed naturally, leaving some scarring. Her eyes are also slightly smaller than normal.

The good news? Lunar is currently comfortable, pain-free, and showing signs that she can see. Her eyes are quiet and healthy-looking with no current signs of infection or inflammation.

At this time, no treatment or surgery is needed. Her eyes will simply need to be monitored, and her adopter should work with their veterinarian if anything changes.

Lunar may be a little different, but different is pretty special. She is looking for someone who will love her exactly as she is and give her the wonderful kittenhood she deserves.
