By bringing mobile, pop-up surgical teams directly into underserved communities, we removed barriers to essential services and helped ensure pets could stay healthy, safe, and at home with the families who love them.

Neuter Scooter

In 2024, the Neuter Scooter continued to break down barriers to accessible veterinary care by bringing affordable spay/neuter services directly to communities across the province. Designed to reach pet owners who may face financial, geographic, or transportation challenges, the Neuter Scooter made it easier than ever for families to access essential preventive care for their animals.

SPCA Mobile Animal Wellness Services Unit

The Ontario SPCA Mobile Animal Wellness Services unit, made possible in 2019 thanks to a Pet Valu “Companions for Change™” sponsorship, was stationed in the Sudbury area for the second year in a row to provide accessible spay/neuter and wellness services, including vaccinations, to Northern pet families.
