Bear is a gentle 5-year-old cuddle bug who dreams of curling up beside his people for long, cozy naps. He’s calm, mellow, and loves nothing more than quiet moments filled with love and companionship. Bear knows some of his commands, making him a sweet and easy-going companion for the right home.
Bear absolutely loves his people and forms strong bonds with those he trusts. When meeting new people, however, he does best with slow, patient introductions that allow him to get to know them at his own pace. Once he feels comfortable, his affectionate and loyal personality truly shines.
When it comes to other dogs, Bear likes to take his time choosing his friends, so any household with pups would need a meet-and-greet to make sure it’s a perfect match. Bear also requires a home with no young children. He prefers spending time with a mature crowd.
Bear does have a slight prey drive, so he would be happiest in a home without small animals. We believe this will help set him up for success and ensure a safe, comfortable environment for everyone.
