Meet Cher!

Meet Cher, our sweet eight-year-old Shepherd mix who is ready to find her forever home!

Cher is truly a fantastic all-around girl. She is wonderful on leash, makes great eye contact with her humans, and is always checking in to make sure she is making good choices. She LOVES treats, is eager to please, and will happily do anything for a little praise and a “good girl!” She has excellent manners, enjoys a good toy, and is just an all-around lovely Sheppy girl.

When Cher first arrived in our care, she was carrying a little extra weight and had an upset tummy. Since then, we have helped her get more active and found a food that agrees with her, and she is really reaping the benefits! She is feeling better, looking great, and enjoying life.

We also discovered that Cher has some thyroid issues that were contributing to her not feeling her best. She is now on a daily thyroid medication that is easy to give and relatively inexpensive. Her future family will simply need to keep up with occasional bloodwork to make sure her medication continues to do its job.

Cher has so much love to give and would make a wonderful addition to a family looking for a loyal, affectionate, well-mannered companion. Could Cher be the girl you’ve been waiting for?
