A 3-year-old Alaskan Malamute/Border Collie mix with a striking good look and a personality all his own. This handsome boy is looking for a calm, understanding forever home where he can truly flourish.
Chester is an independent dog who prefers companionship on his own terms. While he’s not particularly cuddly or overly affectionate, he absolutely loves a good head pat and being told how handsome he is-because, well, he knows it’s true!
He’s a dream to walk with and has excellent leash manners, making him a wonderful companion for daily strolls. Chester enjoys getting out and exploring the world without pulling or causing a fuss.
Chester would do best in a home without small children, where he can feel relaxed and comfortable in a quieter environment. He has not yet been tested with other animals, so any introductions should be approached thoughtfully.
