Ellie is a 5-year-old spayed female Heeler with that classic Heeler spirit we all know and love – smart, energetic, loyal, curious, and always ready to have a job to do. She’s the kind of girl who would happily trade a lazy afternoon on the couch for a hike through the autumn woods, a game of fetch, or an activity that lets her put her clever brain to work.

🍁 Ellie would love a home that appreciates the Heeler lifestyle – plenty of exercise, enrichment, structure, and opportunities to be involved with her people. She’s not looking for a life spent sitting on the sidelines; she wants to be part of the adventure!

🐕 Ellie has done well with other well-mannered dogs when given thoughtful, considerate introductions. Like many Heelers, she appreciates having her boundaries respected and time to get comfortable with a new canine friend. With the right introduction and a compatible companion, she can enjoy having another dog around.
