h hi, I'm Hero

Hi, I’m Hero 🦸‍♂️
I’m a 1-year-old German Shepherd mix, and I’m still figuring out this big, busy world. New people can make me a little nervous at first, so I might hang back and watch from a safe distance. But if you give me a bit of time (and maybe a gentle voice), you’ll see me start to come out of my shell.

I’m learning that people can be kind-and I’m getting braver every day. Once I trust you, I’m a sweet, loyal boy who really wants to connect. I just need someone patient who understands that building trust takes time… but I promise I’m worth it.

Because I’m still gaining confidence, I’d do best in a calm home where I can go at my own pace. Positive reinforcement, encouragement, and a steady routine will help me keep growing into the amazing dog I’m meant to be.
They named me Hero, and I think that means I’ve got a brave heart in here somewhere-I just need the right person to help it shine.
