h hi, I'm Hero

At just 1 year old, this handsome German Shepherd mix is on a mission to discover that the world can be a safe, loving place. New faces and unfamiliar situations can feel a little overwhelming for him, so he may not leap into action right away. Every day, Hero is growing stronger, braver, and more confident.
When Hero finds someone who is patient, kind, and willing to move at his pace, he truly shines. This good boy has some pretty impressive superpowers already-he walks beautifully on leash, has excellent recall, and is eager to please. His manners are top-notch, making him a wonderful companion both at home and out on adventures.
