Hi, I’m Hickory!

I’m a 3-month-old little boy with a gentle heart. The big world can feel a little overwhelming sometimes, so I’m still learning that people can be kind and that home is a safe place. Because of that, I can be a bit shy when we first meet.

What I need most is someone with a patient heart, a quiet home, and the understanding that the best things in life often take a little time. I may not show you all of my wonderful personality right away, but if you let me go at my own pace, I’ll reward you with something truly special-my trust.

I already enjoy being cuddled in your arms, and every gentle interaction helps me grow a little braver. With love, kindness, and patience, I know I’ll blossom into the confident, playful kitten I’m meant to be. Slow and steady really does win the race, and I promise I’ll make every small step worth it.

I’m litter trained, and more than anything, I just want to know what it feels like to be loved and to belong to a family of my own.

Could you be my hero? Could you be the person who shows me that the world isn’t so scary after all? I may need a little extra time, but I have so much love waiting to share with the person who believes in me.

If you’d like to meet me, I’m staying at 800 Centennial Rd. in Brockville. The centre is open daily from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
