Oh, Oreo! Our sweet, charismatic girl! This Border Collie mix has been an absolute treat to get to know. She looks a little like a miniature Akita (if such a thing existed!) and weighs in at just 21 kg… although she’d have you believe she’s a solid 100 kg of pure toughness!

Behind a barrier, Oreo can put on quite the tough-cookie act when strangers approach. But bring out a leash or give her about 20 seconds to get to know you, and BOOM, you’re officially her new best friend!

Oreo LOVES toys. Does she occasionally take them apart to see how they work? Well… yes. But she’s having the time of her life, and who are we to judge? She loves a good game of fetch, a little keep-away in the yard, and WATER! Show this girl a kiddie pool or a deep puddle, and she’ll zoom back and forth like a speedy little ball of fluff. It’s honestly a sight to behold!

Oreo keeps our staff laughing every single day, and we’d love nothing more than for someone to experience her hilarious, lovable personality for the rest of her life. We feel she has potential to do great with another dog or dog-savvy children given the right introduction.
