Meet Sheba!

Sheba is a 3-year-old French Bulldog mix with a big personality and an even bigger heart. She’s a fun, playful, and incredibly sweet girl who has so much love to give, he just needs the right person to take the time to get to know her.

Sheba is the kind of dog who doesn’t hand out her trust immediately, but once she decides you’re her person, you’ll discover what a wonderful little companion she can be. With the people she knows and loves, Sheba is silly, playful, affectionate, and full of personality. She loves having fun and will happily show off her goofy side once she feels safe and comfortable.

Because Sheba is a sensitive girl, she needs a very gentle and patient approach. Her ideal adopters will be experienced with French Bulldogs or similar breeds and understand their unique health considerations, behaviours, and body language. Being able to read Sheba’s signals and respect what she is communicating will be an important part of building a strong relationship with her.

Sheba will need multiple meet-and-greets with her potential adopters before going home. Her future family will need to be patient and allow that relationship to develop naturally, without rushing her.

Sheba is looking for a home where she can be the only pet. She would also not be suitable for a home with small children. She needs a calm environment with people who understand that trust is something that is built over time and that respecting her boundaries is the key to bringing out her best.

For the right family, Sheba is going to be incredibly rewarding. Give her time, give her patience, listen to what she is telling you, and let her come to you, and you’ll get to see the sweet, playful, goofy girl hiding behind that initial uncertainty.

Sheba may need a little extra time to open her heart, but once she does, she is absolutely worth the wait. ❤️
