Pawsitive Words From Our People!

Community Outreach Coordinator

"Being a Community Outreach Coordinator with the Ontario SPCA has filled my soul in so many ways. As an animal lover, being their voice through social media and events has been such a pleasure. I truly don't feel like it is work, as I get to help keep pets and people together by strengthening community connections, improving pet food distribution and educating our youth about the importance of animal welfare. I still pinch myself some days to make sure I'm not dreaming that this is my job. I love every day because I get to help the animals I love. It's wonderful."

Marketing Manager

"I have been in the Marketing and Communications field for nearly 15 years, having had the pleasure to work for and support many incredible causes and organizations. When my wife and I adopted our beautiful rescue dog, Millie, it transformed my life. Caring for and rehabilitating Millie gave me a new perspective not only on dog rescue, but animal welfare in general. She's a major reason why I consider myself a fierce animal advocate today, and it's been the honour of my life to marry my skills and experience with an organization as incredible and reputable as the Ontario SPCA."

Customer Care Representative

"I've been working customer service since I was a teen, and I'm so glad that I found a place where I can use those skills and help animals. Being able to work at the front desk for the Ontario SPCA in Sudbury has been a joy. I get to support my community and work with some of the best people. We often get the question, "How could you work here and not adopt all the animals?" and my honest answer to that is that getting to help our animals find their best homes is so fulfilling for me."
