Nivedita Lane

Nivedita Lane is the Associate Dean, Justice at Humber Polytechnic. She has two decades of experience in community, economic, and workforce development with over 10 years of progressive leadership in post-secondary education in Ontario. A large focus of her professional work has been fostering and empowering access to education and training, in particular for underrepresented individuals and their networks. Her field experience includes working with justice involved youth and their families in Rexdale, Toronto.  Nivedita has an Honours BA in History and Bachelor of Education from York University, as well as Masters of Education in Adult Education & Community Development from OISE, University of Toronto. She is registered with the Ontario College of Teachers (OCT).
