Thank you for your interest in the Ontario SPCA and Humane Society, and your passion for animal well-being. I joined the Ontario SPCA team in September 2021 as the President and Chief Executive Officer. Every day I am inspired by the passion, leadership and commitment to the health and wellness of our furry friends that is shown by our staff, volunteers, and Board. We are grateful for the support from our donors who share that same passion. As a result of their generosity, we can be there for animals and the families who love them in our communities. We are committed to maintaining the human-animal bond and advocating on behalf of animals. This role and the work that the Ontario SPCA does means a lot to me on a personal level. Growing up, there wasn’t an animal my mom wouldn’t accept into her home. Whether it was an orphaned animal or someone’s once-loved companion left by the side of the road, our house became a haven for animals in our community who needed a bit of extra love to get back on their feet. My mother’s legacy of creating a loving refuge for animals in need will carry through my work as the CEO of Ontario’s animal charity. I know I have found an organization and mission that drives me.
