Surrendered pup, Benny, finds his forever family

Sarah and Michael lost their dog of 19 years just a few months before meeting Benny. He was surrendered to the Ontario SPCA and neither Sarah nor Michael could understand why.

“He’s the perfect dog – so much personality,” Sarah said. “Even though he was in a shelter, he was so happy-go-lucky. We knew right away we had to bring him home.”

Since bringing Benny home, Sarah and Michael’s home has been much more lively.

“Having Benny around – him always wanting to go for a walk or to the park – we tend to focus the day around him. He’s really impacted our lives in the best way possible.”
