Report Animal Cruelty

To report animal cruelty please contact the Government of Ontario’s Provincial Animal Welfare Services team at 1-833-9ANIMAL (1-833-926-4625) or your local police services.

Medical Emergency

For medical emergencies, please contact your local veterinary hospital. Find a veterinarian in your area. If there is a concern for the animal’s health after hours when veterinary clinics are closed, or if veterinary care is far away, Smart.Vet offers message, phone and video consultations.

Poison Emergency:
If you think your pet may have ingested a potentially poisonous substance, the ASPCA Animal Poison Control Center (APCC) is accessible for any animal poison-related emergency, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Call 1-888-426-4435

 

Wildlife Emergency
If you have found a sick, injured or orphaned wild animal, please go to ontario.ca/wildlife for information and a list of authorized wildlife rehabilitators.
