Thank you for contacting the Ontario SPCA and Humane Society about our SPCA Veterinary Outreach Services, which will be performing spay/neuter surgeries.

As spaces are limited, note that registering does not guarantee a spot. In order to guarantee your appointment, full payment of the services must be received at the time of the booking.

Important Registration Information:

*A VISA or Mastercard must be present at the time of booking your appointment.

BEFORE filling out the form please ensure your pet meets the following requirements (please note if your pet does not meet the requirements you will not be contacted for a spot):

  • Your pet MUST be between 4 months and 5 years of age
  • Any flat faced breeds (bulldogs, pug, persians etc.) or any animals with breathing difficulties will not be accepted
  • We RECOMMEND that your pet is vaccinated at least 2 weeks prior to surgery, but it is not mandatory. We can provide vaccines at the time of surgery; by registering with the Ontario SPCA you acknowledge the risk associated with bringing an unvaccinated animal to our facility
  • We RECOMMEND pre-anesthetic bloodwork to be completed no less than 2 weeks prior to surgery, but it is not mandatory.
  • Your pet must be in good physical condition and not be under or over weight as these changes can impact the safety of the surgery.  Check your pet’s body condition here:
  • ALL MALES must have 2 testicles present in the scrotal sac (by visual confirmation)
  • Female DOGS need to be free of any signs of heat (bleeding and/or swelling of the vulva) for 6 weeks prior to surgery
  • ALL FEMALES must not be actively nursing and separated from their young for at least 2 weeks prior to surgery
  • If your pet has a medical condition or is on any medications, please make sure you list them on the form, to ensure your pet’s utmost safety during anesthesia

Proof of Subsidy:

Our subsidy program is available for those receiving government assistance such as ODSP, OW, GIS, or who hold an Indigenous Status Card. To secure an appointment in our clinic through the subsidy program, a photo of any government-issued document showing your full name, member ID, and type of subsidy is required. Please submit your proof of subsidy using this form.

Please note that we are unable to accept student status, CPP, or EI as eligible forms of subsidy.
