To report animal cruelty please contact the Government of Ontario’s Provincial Animal Welfare Services team at 1-833-9ANIMAL (1-833-926-4625) or your local police services.

Medical Emergency

For medical emergencies, please contact your local veterinary hospital. Find a veterinarian in your area. If there is a concern for the animal’s health after hours when veterinary clinics are closed, or if veterinary care is far away, Smart.Vet offers message, phone and video consultations.

Poison Control
If you think your pet may have ingested a potentially poisonous substance, the ASPCA Animal Poison Control Center (APCC)is accessible for any animal poison-related emergency, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Call 1-888-426-4435
