For one little girl, Remi was the robot cat she’d always wanted, come to life
by Ontario SPCA and Humane Society | Happy Tails | March 3, 2020
Amanda’s daughter has special needs. She has an orange and white robotic kitten which behaves like a real cat and brings her comfort throughout the day.
So when her parents came across a near-identical cat named Remi at the Ontario SPCA and Humane Society, they decided to bring him home as another companion for their daughter.
What they didn’t expect was such a unique bond between the two of them.
“When my daughter is upset or having a hard time, he picks up on that. He’ll come over and sleep with her in bed – he brings her peaceful comfort that allows her to just sit and take her mind off of what’s going on.”
