Orillia pet first aid

The Ontario SPCA Orillia Animal Centre, in partnership with Dr. Alan Poon of the Mariposa Veterinary Hospital, is hosting a FREE Pet First Aid Class for community members at the Orillia Public Library. Interested attendees over the age of 18 are encouraged to join us between 5:30 pm – 6:30 pm in the Programming Rooms. The Pet First Aid Class will include the following topics:

  • recognizing pet emergencies
  • basic bandaging
  • basic wound management
  • toxin and poison awareness
  • building your own pet first aid kit

Do NOT bring real pets to this class. Instead, please bring a stuffed animal for practice purposes. There are 20 spots available, so register today through the Orillia Public Library: https://events.orilliapubliclibrary.ca/default/Detail/2024-09-11-1730-Pet-First-Aid
