After 8 years waiting for a home – Blackjack won big
by Ontario SPCA and Humane Society | Northern projects | July 5, 2019
Blackjack was one of 70 cats transferred from Second Chance Pet Network in Dryden, Ontario, on May 8th, 2019. He had been in their care since October of 2011 waiting for his forever home.
After a short time waiting at the Ontario SPCA Provincial Education and Animal Centre, Blackjack found his perfect match. His new family wanted to share an update with all of us!
“He [Blackjack]’s doing great. He’s still a little nervous about the different sounds (as we live in a townhouse on a busy Toronto street) but he’s settling in very well. Bosh is taking to him well. His favourite spot is still under our spare room bed but always comes out when I call him. He is such a sweet guy!”
We love seeing these updates and happy families! If you’ve adopted one of these cats, we’d love to hear from you! Send a message to our Facebook page with your update and photos.
