Evangeline Cattrysse, VP, Human Resources and Administration
Evangeline Cattrysse has been working in Human Resources management for over 15 years. She is a Certified Human Resources Leader (CHRL) and Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP). She is also a Certified Workplace Investigator as well she has certifications in Health and Safety and Mental Health First Aid.
Prior to joining the Ontario SPCA and Humane Society, Evangeline served as a Director of Human Resources at HostPapa, a Canadian web hosting company, where she created and developed the Human Resources Department from the early start-up phase to a global business with over 250 people.
Evangeline has held a passion for animals her entire life. After graduating from the University of Waterloo with an Environmental Studies degree, she worked with wildlife as a Rehabilitator, an Advisor and volunteered with the Ministry of Natural Resources. Continuing her passion for animal welfare, Evangeline joined the Toronto Humane Society in various roles including Animal Welfare Inspector, Foster Volunteer Coordinator, and Assistant Manager. She then joined the Hamilton/Burlington SPCA as the Operations Manager, and her recent animal care experience was as a Business Operations Manager at Country Paws Boarding.
Evangeline’s family includes two dogs, a black lab named Oakley and a Golden Retriever named Theo.
