Presented by End of the Leash, in partnership with the Water and Dirt Festival

The Town of Petawawa is proud to host the 5th annual Ottawa Valley Doggy Paddle, in support of the Ontario SPCA Renfrew County Animal Centre!
Canoe with your canine, kayak for a kitten, or SUP with your pup – all in support of a paw-some cause! No furry sidekick? No problem! Join your two-legged friends for a fun day on the water. Don’t have a board or boat? We’ve got you covered.

10 AM – Doggy Paddle begins

Important Safety Info
  • All paddlers must have a safety kit.
    • Canoes/kayaks: whistle, bailing bucket, floating rope, and a PFD/lifejacket
    • SUPs: whistle, leash, and a PFD/lifejacket
  • All paddlers under 18 must be accompanied by an adult and equipped with all safety gear.
  • Pet safety: Lifejackets are strongly recommended for all animal participants.
