Cupcakes to the rescue – bake a difference for animals in need
Cupcake Day for the Ontario SPCA is coming up on Feb. 27, and we are inviting you to take part in the sweetest day of the year. Baking a difference for animals in need is a piece of cake!
Since 2012, the dedicated supporters of the Ontario SPCA and Humane Society have been baking cupcakes and raising funds for animals in need, and we want to make this the sweetest year yet! We are calling on all animal-lovers in Ontario to dust off their aprons, pre-heat their ovens, and bake the world a batter place for animals across the province!
By raising funds for Cupcake Day, you are changing the lives of vulnerable animals in your community. All funds raised through Cupcake Day initiatives will be used to provide urgently needed care and shelter for animals waiting to find a safe and loving home.
So how can you get involved? It’s a piece of cake!
1. Visit cupcakeday.ca to register and fundraise.
2. Whip up some delicious creations at home and share them with friends and family, (or keep them for yourself!)
3. Ask your family and friends to visit cupcakeday.ca to donate to your online fundraising page. Or you can donate yourself to your local Ontario SPCA animal centre by visiting cupcakeday.ca
