Happy National Cupcake Day! – How to submit funds
Happy National Cupcake Day™! We can’t wait to see all of your pictures and hear how you’ve fundraised to help animals in need this year.
As the event wraps up, some of you may be wondering how to submit your funds. We’re making it simple with these two options:
Option 1: Have supporters donate directly through your Personal Fundraising Page
Encourage your supporters to donate to your Personal Fundraising Page directly; they can use a credit card to make a secure transaction. They will receive a donation receipt via email once the payment has been processed. These donations will contribute to your online fundraising total and this is the easiest and most environmentally friendly option!
Note: If you are supporting the BC SPCA, the Ottawa Humane Society, the Stratford-Perth Humane Society & the Kitchener-Waterloo Humane Society, you will receive a tax receipt directly from the charity.
For all other locations, donors will receive a tax receipt by email from the Ontario SPCA, which is administering the campaign. Funds will then be directed to the society of your choice (if different from the Ontario SPCA).
Option 2: Submit donations by mail
Download a National Cupcake Day™ Party Donation Form or use the donation form in your Host Kit. Collect cash and cheques at your National Cupcake Day™ Party and enter the information of donors who want a tax receipt on the form. Note: we issue tax receipts for those who donate $10 or more.
Mail in your National Cupcake Day™ Party Donation Form with collected cheques. Any cash you receive can be added up and one personal cheque can be submitted for the total. Please do not mail cash.
All donations must be received by midnight on March 13, 2018 to be counted toward our fundraising competitions.
All cheques you mail in must be made out to National Cupcake Day™, EXCEPT for those supporting the BC SPCA, the Ottawa Humane Society, the Stratford-Perth Humane Society & the Kitchener-Waterloo Humane Society. Please make those cheques out to the respective society.

Please see the three-digit code here that corresponds to the participating society you are fundraising for and enter it in the upper-right hand corner of your offline National Cupcake Day™ Party Donation Form.
