The Ontario SPCA and Humane Society, along with the York Region District School Board, have been invited to present at the UNESCO International Symposium on Democracy, Global Citizenship and Transformative Education: New Perspectives to Understand, Engage and Act Together.

This five-day event includes 42 sessions in three languages (English, French, Spanish) from 100+ presenters representing 25 countries.

Our presentation, We Are All Connected: One Welfare and Humane Education in Building Capacity and Fostering Empathy in our Future Leaders will be featured. Attendees will have an opportunity to ask questions and discuss the One Welfare model and how we are all connected.
