Our Friends for Life!™ Walk brings together people from all “walks” of life. In this video, we introduce you to just two of the amazing walkers we had participate in the 2016 walk: Amanda Gardner and Joanne George.
Amanda Gardner adopted our special girl, Patty, from the Ontario SPCA Provincial Education and Animal Centre in 2015. Patty had a really tough life, but came through it as sweet as ever. In 2016, Patty became the spokesdog for the Stouffville walk!
Our other walker is Joanne George, the owner of Smiley the blind therapy dog and Pal. Together, they strive to bring awareness to how special needs dogs make great pets, and encourage people to adopt. We were so happy to have them as guests this year!
