This year’s iAdopt for the Holidays campaign was a huge success, with over 5,300 animals finding forever homes through participating societies.
From November 1 – December 31, Ontario SPCA Animal Centres in partnership with 50 other participating SPCAs and Humane Societies across Canada, ran the iAdopt for the Holidays adoption campaign. The goal was to get as many animals as possible adopted into loving, forever homes for the holidays. We are so pleased to say the campaign was a great success!
Ontario SPCA Animal Centres saw close to 1,605 animals find their forever homes over the two month period.
We are also excited to announce the winner of our grand prize online contest! Winning free pet food for a year, courtesy of Royal Canin Canada, was ‘Sophie’ the dog and her owners!
Congratulations! You can continue to share your adopted pet’s photos on the iAdopt photo wall year round by posting their picture on Twitter or Instagram using the hashtag #iAdopt or direct uploading to iAdopt.ca. Check out the pet adoption photo wall at iAdopt.ca.
A big thank you to all who participated in this year’s campaign both online and through adopting an animal. You helped to change lives this holiday season!
We also ran weekly photo contests where entrants used #iAdopt to share their adoption stories and were eligible to win prize packs courtesy of Royal Canin Canada.
Thank you to those who sent in photos for our weekly contests! We loved getting to see all of your amazing pet photos! Below is a gallery of the nine randomly selected winners.
