Cat carrier found in Lake Lisgar with deceased cat inside: Ontario SPCA and Police seek public’s help to solve case

IMMEDIATE RELEASE – TILLSONBURG, ON (June 26, 2017) – The Ontario SPCA and the Oxford County OPP are looking for information about a deceased cat found in a pet carrier in Lake Lisgar. On June 20, 2017 the Oxford County OPP located a cat carrier in Lake Lisgar. Upon retrieving the carrier, they found a deceased cat inside. The cat was orange in colour. The Ontario SPCA was contacted to support the investigation. The Ontario SPCA and the Oxford County OPP are seeking information from the public if anyone has any information about this cat and how it died.
