Food enrichment for your cat

by | Cat Care |

When you feed your cat, do you simply put down their bowl of food? Did you know your companion animal loves to work for their food?

Offering a mental challenge during mealtime is satisfying and may help your cat eat less. When you do this, you’re also simulating how they get food in the wild.

So now that you know a mealtime mental challenge is good for your cat, how do you execute this?

Create games they can win with little frustration. Be creative, and break routine so they have fun while working to get their food. After all, your cat will be happier and healthier thanks to interesting mealtimes you create.

Thank you Royal Canin for the mealtime tip and, be sure to visit them for more!

I stand behind SPCA with my monthly gift

I stand behind SPCA with my monthly gift. I am so happy there are folks like you to care for those who can’t help themselves.  My family and I have had animals all our lives and know what a comfort they are.  Thank you SPCA.
