How to: Clean your pet’s paws in the winter

Your dog loves going for walks in the winter, but as the pet parent, you need to make sure they are safe and taken care of when they get back inside! Lots of things can build up in your pet’s paws during a walk, and you are responsible for getting them out.

There’s a very simple way to clean your pet’s feet to remove salt and ice that may have formed during your walk. Watch our video to learn how!

How to clean those paws:

What you need:

  • a cloth
  • some warm water
  • a bowl
  • a towel

3 steps:

  • Place the cloth into the warm water and ring it out
  • Pick up your pet’s paw and gently wipe it
  • Place the paw onto the dry towel to absorb excess moisture
  • Repeat with each paw
