Kery and Bill support the Ontario SPCA in a variety of different ways, choosing to focus their donations mostly towards our Lennox & Addington Animal Centre in Napanee, so they can feel and see the direct impact of their support in their community.
Each year, they choose one project or renovation to support at our animal centre. They’ve been personally responsible for providing the centre with new dog cages, new fencing at the back of the building, renovations to the cat adoption room and animal intake room, and repairs to exterior concrete slabs ensuring the safety of staff and visitors.
We have always loved animals, but when we began visiting the centre in Napanee, we quickly became enamoured with the staff and manager there. We could see how hard these people worked to help animals each and every day, and decided we wanted to make an impact on the organization and the animals it provides for, starting right in our community.
With both cats and dogs in their hearts and minds, Kery and Bill also made a very generous donation to our Provincial Dog Rehabilitation Centre campaign in its early stages, and Kery knits cat mats and blankets for the animals in the centre.
On behalf of the animals, we thank Kery and Bill for the generous support they provide.
