What’s this Working Cats program all about?

One of the goals of the Ontario SPCA when rehoming animals is to find the right home for each animal in its care. Community cats, which some people refer to as feral cats, require alternative homes due to their lack of socialization. The Ontario SPCA is giving these cats “jobs” as working cats.

Celebrating 10 years of spay/neuter services

This year marks the 10th anniversary of the Ontario SPCA Centre Veterinary Hospital in Stouffville, just outside Newmarket and the Ontario SPCA Marion Vernon Memorial Animal Clinic in Barrie. To date, over 45,219 dogs and 72,418 cats have been spayed/neutered between the two locations.
